Visitation with a couple from church

I visited with some sweet saints for about 90 minutes this evening. I was thinking, during the day, what I could say to encourage them. We talked about Col 1:22; 1 Thes 5 9-10; Eph 2:1-10; and Psalm 16:11 - To be honest they encouraged me just the same. There were some points during our conversation where I began to understand how natural it is for Romans 12:15 to flow out. I told them I hoped I could stop by again sometime, but if not, I would see their faces soon in glory. I think it is so important in our busyness we don't forget about the older members at church. They are dear to King Jesus and it isn't right that they should feel alone, plus you can learn some amazing things about God's faithfulness.
