God used Robert Murray McCheyne in a mightily way. I have read several of his sermons and they were very powerful and clearly spoken. My friend went to this Desiring God conference that was held in early February. One of the memorable quotes that Piper read that I believe was taken from Andrew Bonar's biography of Robert Murray M'Cheyne is in regards to McChyne's habit of seeking the Lord early in the morning, "giving the eye the habit of looking upward all the day, and drawing down gleams from the reconciled countenance."
